Rights and Partnerships

Crescent & Quill approaches rights and partnerships with care, clarity, and long-term consideration. Our role as a publisher extends beyond initial publication to the responsible stewardship of the work we release under the Crescent imprint.

We engage with authors, agents, and partners in a manner that prioritizes alignment, transparency, and respect for the integrity of the original work. Rights decisions are guided by editorial judgment and by an understanding of how a project may evolve over time.

  • Our approach to rights is grounded in the belief that not all opportunities are appropriate for every project. We consider rights as part of a broader editorial and publishing responsibility, rather than as standalone transactions.

Where applicable, we work with authors to retain flexibility and clarity around rights, including print, digital, audio, translation, and adaptation. Decisions are made on a project-by-project basis, with attention to long-term value rather than short-term exposure.

  • Crescent & Quill engages selectively with partners whose work reflects a shared respect for craft, process, and integrity. Partnerships may include literary agents, international publishers, audio producers, and creative collaborators across related fields.

We value relationships built on mutual understanding and clear communication. Our goal is to support work in ways that extend its reach while preserving its original intent and editorial coherence.

If you’d like to engage in a partnership opportunity, please reach out to us via our Contact form.

  • While our work begins with the page, some projects invite thoughtful expansion beyond it. Select titles may be considered for audio, international editions, or adaptation for film, television, or other media.

These opportunities are approached deliberately and with respect for the source material. We are attentive to fit, timing, and alignment, and do not pursue adaptation as an expectation or default outcome.
